Work on Eger bypass highway to start next year

Hungary's National Infrastructure Development Company (NIF) expects a planned HUF 11bn motorway bypass around the city of Eger (NE Hungary) to be completed by 2013, project manager Tamas Dombrady said on Wednesday.

 

Work on the 12.6-kilometre bypass, supported with EU funding, will start in the spring of 2010 and finish in the middle of 2013, Mr Dombrady said.
