Volán resumes summer bus routes to Croatian coast

State-owned coach firm Volánbusz will this weekend begin to operate its summer coach services to seaside resorts in Croatia, Italy and Montenegro by Adria, Dalmát, Montenegro, Jesolo and Cattolica Express lines.

A return ticket to Rijeka is Ft 8,000, and Ft 9,000 to Split, while groups of five or more will receive a 20% discount. Pre-booked and internet purchases will also be discounted.

Volán, with 99 destinations in 14 countries, carried 80-90,000 passengers last year and is expecting the same number this year, sales director Lajos Fajcsák said.
