Four cars crashed this morning on the tram rails at the Rudas Bath in Buda, reported the chief dispatcher of Budapest transport company BKV to state news wire MTI. The accident caused a major interruption of tram transportation services, since traffic was halted in Buda on the lines of trams 18, 19 and 41.

According to the BKV, on the lines of trams 3 and 62 in Pest another traffic jam evolved due to an accident in the intersection of Fogarasi út and Nagy Lajos király útja where four other cars crashed as well.
