Tender called to utilize or sell Debrecen airport

A two-round, open tender has been called for the purchase of a 100% business share in Airport-Debrecen Kft., operator of Debrecen airport, reports napi.hu.

The tender to utilize or sell the property was called by the local government, which will examine the professional experience, competence and financial stability of applicants.

Bids can be submitted until November 30, and results are expected to be announced by December 31.

The local government aims to attract the necessary investment to ensure the airport's competitiveness, while minimalizing its own undertakings.
