Teacher struck 45 times in deadly beating
The teacher who was beaten to death by an angry mob on Sunday in Eastern Hungary received 45 blows and kicks, primarily to his head and neck, reports hirszerzo.hu. The attack came after he ran over a girl in his car.
"According to the medical expert, the teacher who died in Olaszliszka was hit and kicked 45 times," said Antal Kökényesi of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county police.
Gabriella Szöginé Megyeri, the widow, told Napkelte, the morning show on MTV1, that the medical expert's findings shocked her. She also said her daughters are still traumatized from witnessing the brutal lynching, and will most likely need the help of a psychologist.
