Tax office evacuated due to bomb scare
One of the central offices of Hungary's tax authority APEH were evacuated and closed for customers due to a bomb threat on Monday, the spokesman of the authority told MTI.
Attila Burillak said that an anonymous male caller had warned the police in the morning, after which the premises in Haller Street (District 9) were evacuated and thoroughly checked by explosives experts.
The offices were reopened early in the afternoon, as no explosives had been found in the building.
