Hungarian-Canadian killed in Afghanistan
A Hungarian-Canadian soldier was killed in a recent bomb attack which also killed four others in the Afghan town of Kandahar, reports Blikk.
György Miok (†28) had been patrolling in an armored car when a bomb exploded under the vehicle.
Miok was born in Canada but attended Hungarian schools and spoke fluent Hungarian. His coffin was greeted at the airport by a csárdás band.
