A Palóc village, a vintage railway, a new reception building and a museum workshop is to be added to the Skanzen village museum in Szentendre by 2010, reports Kultura.hu.

According to spokesman Miklós Cseri, the biggest new attraction will be a Skanzen railway. Transport at the museum is also a necessary development, as the site is 12 times larger than Budapest's Margit Island.

The museum won a tender for Ft 2 billion (€7.5 million) in April from the European Regional Development Fund.
