Survey finds Budapest world's 49th most liveable city
Budapest was rated the world's 49th most liveable city in an ECA International survey of 254 cities. Rankings were based on factors such as climate, health care, housing, air quality, political tension and personal safety.
Copenhagen was deemed the best city to live in. Hungary's strength lies in its central location, cosmopolitan environment and affordable housing and health care, ECA communications manager Josephine Wooley said. The country did not score highly on personal safety and residents' foreign language skills.
