The event was attended by numerous actors, musicians, and TV personalities. The starting price of the cows was Ft 200,000 (€767). The record bid was Ft 1.7 million (€6,525) for the "Cow with Symbols" (Tehén szimbólumokkal) by István Zámbó.

According to the organizers, in retrospect, the first Hungarian "Cow Parade" was overall a success, despite the fact that several sculptures were damaged and vandalized.
