Speaker and President top Hungarian popularity list

The popularity list compiled by Statistics Company Szonda Ipsos is lead by Parliamentary Speaker Katalin Szili, President László Sólyom and Democratic Forum leader Ibolya Dávid.

Socialist supporters gave Szili 67 points and Dávid 53 points, while Fidesz supporters gave them 37 and 42 points. Sólyom was given 63 points from Fidesz supporters, and 35 points from left-leaning people.

The three are followed by Foreign Minister Kinga Göncz and opposition leader Viktor Orbán. The rest of the politicians are far behind, especially those with a government position. Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány is in 21st place.
