Ryanair pledges to cut fares in autumn
Low-cost carrier Ryanair will slash ticket prices by 5% from the autumn and has promised not to introduce a fuel surcharge. Consequently, one million seats will be sold for Ł5 including charges and taxes next month.
Ryanair last month announced the suspension of its winter operations at Ferihegy airport and six other European airports due to rising fuel costs and its failure to negotiate lower airport fees.
