Two elegant coaches, one of which once carried the Archduchess Marie-Valerie of Austria, daughter of Emperor Franz Josef, while the other is believed to have transported other members of the Austrian royal family, took their places in the Helikon Museum in Keszthely, on the westernmost tip of Lake Balaton, W Hungary, on Sunday.

The museum, which opened in 2004, now has forty historical horse-drawn vehicles in its collection, including wagons, coaches, carts, and sleds, as well as another ten currently awaiting restoration. Many of them date from the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
