Renowned Hungarian actress in critical condition
Famed actress Mari Törőcsik was rushed to Kútvölgyi hospital in critical condition on Thursday. No details were divulged, at her family's request. The actress is in a coma and her blood circulatory system has collapsed, ATV reported Thursday night.
The two-time Kossuth Prize winner has been appearing in the National Theatre and ExperiDance joint production "Revans." She is also scheduled to play in a production of John Webster's "The Duchess of Malfi" next May.
Törőcsik was to be a guest of honour at the Hungarian Film Festival in Los Angeles on Wednesday, but cancelled her participation, citing an unspecified illness.
