Renovation of Budapest's northernmost bridge starts today
Starting today, two lanes will be closed on the Árpád Bridge between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. every day until the morning of November 22 due to renovation works, reports hirado.hu. During the day, the speed limit will be reduced to 30 kph in the construction zone.
The structure that allows the bridge to stretch will also be replaced. The work will be done during the night, while the construction zone will be covered with a steel structure 10 centimeter higher than the level of the asphalt during the day, making speed limit reduction necessary. Tram traffic will not be affected.
