If you're curious about what a poem by Endre Ady looks like in Czech, or how Jerzy Andrzejewski translates into Hungarian, visit www.visegradliterature.net, click on the magic cube, and have a go.

The website contains over one thousand original texts from 200 of the greatest classical and contemporary writers and poets of the countries belonging to the Visegrad Four -- Czech Rep, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary -- with cross translations. Many of the works even appear in English- and German-language translations, Eva Karadi, the project's Hungarian editor, told MTI on Wednesday.

The works are accompanied by brief biographies of the authors. The project is under continuous development.

The website is related to a similar project (www.babelmatrix.org) which provides translations of Hungarian works in several major languages.
