PricewaterhouseCoopers predicts Hungary to finish in 16th place on Olympic medals chart
Accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has predicted that Hungary will finish in 16th place on the medals chart of the forthcoming Olympic Summer Games in Beijing.
The prediction for the total medal counts was based on past performances in the last three Olympics and the current economic situation of the participating countries.
Accordingly, PricewaterhouseCoopers expects Hungarian athletes to win altogether 17 medals, just as they did in Athens four years ago.
The table is topped by China with 88 medals, compared to 87 for the United States, 79 for Russia, 43 for Germany and 42 for Australia.
