Prize Hungarian stallion wins at Rome meeting
Overdose, the three-year-old stallion from the Dunakeszi racing stable, won a race in Rome by 60 metres on Sunday, taking €31,000 of the €80,000 purse, Lajos Vajtó, executive manager of Nemzeti Lóverseny (National Horse Racing Ltd) told Népszabadság.
Overdose remains undefeated in ten races, Magyar Hírlap observes.
Owner Zoltán Mikóczy said this race marked the end of the season for Overdose, which will take a winter rest and begin preparations for next season in the spring.
