Priceless, or worthless?
A painting attributed to Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka, one of Hungary's most renowned painters, will be auctioned by the Belvedere Auction House with the unusual starting price of Ft 0 on November 29, reports Deluxe.hu.
The work, entitled simply Parkrészlet ("Part of a Park") is thought to be one of the artist's earlier works, dating from 1891.
Despite the opinions of several top experts, serious doubts remain over the authenticity of the work. As a result, the auction house has chosen to allow buyers to make up their own minds about its value without suggesting a reserve.
