Proceedings on suspicion of abuse of personal data have been launched against far-right website Kuruc.info for having published an alleged list of phone calls made by House of Terror director Mária Schmidt, as well as the mobile phone number of data privacy ombudsman Attila Péterfalvi recently.

No reports were filed against the website, but Budapest Police decided to launch proceedings on its own authority.

Police have asked US officials to provide information about the website server, which is located in the US.
