PM, transport minister open new motorway section
The middle section of motorway M6 connecting Dunaujvaros (C) and Szekszard (SW) was opened by Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai and Transport Minister Peter Honig on Wednesday.
Bajnai said that the new stretch of M6 joined Hungary to the "1,000 Club" of European countries that had more than 1,000 kilometres of motorways and expressways in use.
The 65.1-km section was constructed in a PPP scheme.
