Pest lower embankment reopens earlier than expected
The Pest lower embankment, one of Budapest's most used roads, reopened to motorists on Monday after the construction company finished work ahead of schedule.
The road was closed between Közraktár utca and Havas utca in May because of the construction of the Fővám tér Metro 4 station. Thanks to the rapid construction work, the capital faces one roadblock fewer for the start of the new school year.
