Four police officers who caught a prisoner who had escaped from the building of Budapest's District IV Court on Friday within 24 hours were presented with awards on Tuesday, reports fn.hu.

Brigadier General István Ignácz, chief of the Pest County Police, said that officers started looking for the prisoner as soon as they became aware of his escape. Based on collected data, they established that the 46-year-old man from Mogyoród was probably hiding in a house in Csévharaszt.

Four officers from the Monor Police went to the scene, where they found the escaped prisoner. He was under the influence of alcohol, and tried to disguise his identity by giving false personal information.
