Pay-by-mobile phone parking introduced all over Budapest
Budapest drivers will be able to buy parking tickets with a mobile phone in each of the city's 23 Districts, after the new payment system proved successful in the Fifth District. Each zone has its own four-digit code and motorists can send this via text messages to pay for the parking.
The technology allows drivers to pay for the exact time for which they use the parking space.
