Over one-fourth of Hungarians vaccinated against new flu
The first wave of the new flu epidemic in Hungary is beyond its peak but the number of cases is expected to increase again in January-February and later in April, chief medical officer Ferenc Falus said on Thursday.
Some 26-30 percent of Hungarians are now vaccinated against the H1N1 virus. Most vaccinations were given in Budapest's 8th and 9th districts and in the Szeged-Morahalom region of southern Hungary, he added.
