OTP objects to US Holocaust trial
OTP Bank has submitted an objection to block the lawsuit launched in the US by Holocaust victims against Hungarian banks.
OTP said it categorically rejects any responsibility, as it was founded on November 11, 1991, and its legal predecessor the National Savings Bank was established on March 1, 1949 without a legal predecessor, whereas the events mentioned in the lawsuit took place in 1944.
