A new 3,800-square-meter building featuring jungle animal exhibits has been completed at the Sóstó Zoo in the northeastern city of Nyíregyháza, kistigrisklub.hu reports, based on MTI. The glass-domed building, which also contains an oceanarium with 12 pools, will open to the public tomorrow.

Director László Gajdos said that with the opening of the Green Pyramid, the zoo will provide homes for a total of 222 animal species. The new building will focus on rare species from the Indonesian islands, which Europeans are less familiar with.
