Norwegian woman found dead in Budapest youth hostel
A Norwegian woman aged 21 has been found dead in a Budapest youth hostel, a police spokesperson told MTI on Monday.
A member of staff at the youth hostel in Harsfa Street, in the seventh district of Budapest, found the body of the woman on Sunday evening. Her identity was initially not known but police said she was the victim of an alleged crime.
On the basis of interviews with witnesses and the search of the room it was established that she was a Norwegian citizen, aged 21, said Endre Kormos. A police investigation is under way with full force, he added.
