Waiting and parking bans will be imposed on along several Budapest roads as part of Sunday's European Car-free Day, police have reported on their website.

Cars will not be allowed to stop on either side of Andrássy út and on all side roads from Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út to Dózsa György út and within Kodály Körönd from 8 p.m. on Saturday to midnight Monday. The same section may even be completely closed down on Sunday.

European Car-free Day is independent of a similar event organized by Critical Mass on Monday.
