New air links between Budapest, Jordan and Switzerland
Royal Jordanian airlines will launch direct flights between Amman and Budapest from June, Budapest Airport announced yesterday. The airline will fly 100-seat aircraft between the cities on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
This development gives Hungarian travellers direct links to five Middle East destinations: Beirut, Damascus, Tehran, Tel Aviv and now Amman, the airport operator said. This segment accounts for 3.4% of all passenger traffic through Ferihegy.
In addition, Swiss Air has said it will start four weekly flights between Basle and Budapest on January 16.
