MIÉP protest flop blamed on intimidation
Some 400-500 people turned out at a gathering organised by the Hungarian Justice and Life Party against the government at Rákóczi tér, 8th District Friday, because "people have been intimidated," party chairman István Csurka told the crowd.
Csurka claimed that the Gyurcsány speech was leaked by Israeli and American advisers in support of the Socialist Party "as the measures have unleashed unprecedented discontent in society and even police are demonstrating." He added that Fidesz had got scared, "which is a bigger blow than Ferenc Gyurcsány lying."
