Budapest's Hősök tere (Heroes' Square) and its surroundings will be closed from 17:00 until 21:00 today because of rehearsals for a military ceremony that will take place on Monday, August 20. According to hirtv.hu, entering the square, some parts of Kós Károly sétány, Állatkerti körút, Dózsa György út and the parking lot behind the Műcsarnok will not be possible during these hours.

This year, new elements will be added to the annual ceremony, some of which may temporarily disturb local residents. Supply and battle helicopters of the Hungarian Army will fly above the square. These helicopters will also take part in the rehearsal, flying in from the direction of Népstadion. Hungary's brand-new Gripen fighter jets will participate as well.
