Magyar Posta offers reward for missing employee
The Hungarian Postal Service (Magyar Posta) has offered a Ft 500,000 (€2,000) reward to anyone who can help find a female postal worker missing since the last week of November, reports hirszerzo.hu.
Ilona Csécsné (44) from Alsóörs, Veszprém County, was last seen in Káptalanfüred on November 27. Individuals with information about her whereabouts should call the police help line on 112 or contact any police station, Magyar Posta CEO Pál Szabó said.
It is possible that the woman was a victim of crime, or that she embezzled pension money she was charged with delivering.
Meanwhile, police have issued a search warrant for a man from Tatabánya in connection with the case of the missing postwoman. Witnesses saw the two together, and it is possible that they planned the embezzlement together.
