Lithuanian airline to operate flights from Vilnius to Budapest
Lithuanian airline flyLAL will operate three weekly flights from Vilnius to Budapest starting in October, making that city the 100th scheduled destination from Ferihegy airport, operator Budapest Airport announced. The Lithuanian national carrier becomes Ferihegy's 39th scheduled airline.
The Vilnius flights are set for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. FlyLal will be entitled to the benefits of a three-year incentive programme, the airport operator said.
With the start of direct flights to the Baltics, all regions of the EU are now accessible from Budapest directly, said Budapest Airport CEO Jost Lammers.
