Hydrogen-fuelled bus developed by Hungarian company
H2 Bus has finished the pilot version of its hydrogen-fuelled bus, Napi Gazdaság learnt. The bus was made for Quantum Energy, which signed a letter of intent with the government to make hydrogen fuel available in Hungary.
"Quantum Energy is planning hydrogen-producing wind power plants for use in mass urban transport," CEO László Molnár said. "This will help to reduce city pollution and aid the utilisation of the notoriously erratic wind power," Molnár explained.
