Hungary's opposition holds majority in latest poll
Support for Fidesz among decided voters stands at 51%, according to a poll conducted jointly by Századvég and Forsense, while the approval rating of the Socialist Party is 34%.
Some 59% of respondents disapproved of the performance of the Gyurcsány cabinet, 43% favour the departure of the present government, while 41% want it to remain in office. Support for the Democratic Forum stood at 8%, ahead of the Free Democrats on 3%.
The poll was conducted June 6-14 on a survey of 971 adults.
