Hungary's health ministry drafts bill on home births
"The Health Ministry has drafted a bill covering the conditions for home births," Minister Ágnes Horváth announced on Friday. In future mothers-to-be can decide to have midwives or gynecologists at the birth.
The presence of two professionals will be compulsory at deliveries, and the relevant hospital will have to be notified when the delivery of a baby begins.
