Hungary's health minister to introduce indoor smoking ban

Health Minister Ágnes Horváth made it clear before regular business in Parliament yesterday afternoon that the government is aiming to gradually bring about a ban on smoking in all enclosed public spaces.

 

Horváth said "protection of non-smokers is a top government priority" and she sought support for the proposed measure. MPs speaking on behalf of their parties expressed support.
