Hungarian swimmer takes Olympic silver in men's 400-meter medley
Swimmer László Cseh, who won the first medal - a silver - for Hungary in the Beijing Olympic Games in the men's 400-metre medley final on Sunday, said he was satisfied with the result and hoped to win an Olympic gold medal later.
"I am satisfied now and will be happy later. I clocked a very good time, which could have been even better if the final had been held in the afternoon. I achieved the best result I could. Nevertheless, I feel myself able to improve this time. I was hopeful that I would be able to defeat (bronze medalist) Ryan Lochte. I would have been satisfied with this time and result even in advance", Cseh said after the competition.
Cseh, who set a European record of 4:06.16 in the final, finished in second place behind U.S. swimming giant Michael Phelps.
