Hungary to set new parking, gun rules
The cabinet proposed new public parking regulations and fixing car-parking fees to the price of 95 unleaded petrol yesterday.
Government spokesman Domokos Szollár recalled that the Constitutional Court has voided the parking decrees of local authorities, who will not be permitted to charge for parking from July 1.
Hungary's gun laws are set to be tightened, meanwhile. Justice Minister Imre Forgács said only those who have been members of a sports club for at least three years and who pass a psychology test will be granted a gun licence, after yesterday's regular cabinet meeting.
