Hungary blocks EU visa fee hike
Hungary on Monday prevented an increase in the fee for Schengen visas from €35 to €60 at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels. The visa enables its bearer to enter all EU countries. Foreign Minister Ferenc Somogyi told reporters that the EU has been persuaded to view the issue as one of enlargement rather than just a financial question.
