Hungarians no longer need a visa to enter Canada
Canada has abolished visas to the country for visitors from Hungary, Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia, Immigration Minister Diane Finley announced.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Kinga Göncz said on Saturday that with this decision Hungarians may now remain in Canada without a visa for up to three months if they do not take up work. Visits of over three months continue to require visas. She welcomed the decision as a sign of Canadian trust and recognition towards Hungary.
