Hungarian police offer new details on Ophélie Bretnacher case
The Hungarian police on Friday offered new details in the case of Ophélie Bretnacher, the young foreign exchange student who went missing in Budapest last week.
According to index.hu, closed-circuit television cameras captured images of Bretnacher walking through Roosevelt tér and across the Lánchíd (Chain Bridge), probably on the way to the house she was staying at with her host family.
The footage captured did not show anyone following her, or her speaking with anyone.
Meanwhile, the police confirmed that only 30 minutes passed between her leaving a nightclub and the discovery of her bag by another foreign student.
The police declined to give out any further details but said they are continuing to investigate the case.
