Hungarian Olympians pass drug tests
None of the tests for performance-enhancing drugs carried out among Hungarian athletes at the Beijing Olympic Games proved to be positive, the Hungarian Olympic Committee told MTI on Friday.
So far, 32 tests were conducted on Hungarians, fewer than expected, Andras Tallay, head of the Hungarian medical team, said.
Four years ago in Athens five Hungarian athletes - a hammer thrower, a discus thrower and three weightlifters - were disqualified for having produced positive urine samples or no samples at all.
