Hungarian gay groups form national alliance
Hungary's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual groups have formed a national umbrella organisation (LMBT), Sandor Steigler, one of the new alliance's executives, told reporters on Monday.
The alliance, which has yet to be officially registered, has asked the political parties to support a bill on registered partnerships on the Monday agenda of parliament, said Steigler.
The bill was submitted by the government after the Constitutional Court threw out a new law which treated relationships between heterosexuals and homosexual partnerships in the same way.
