Hungarian airline Malév will include airport fees and all other fees in its quoted ticket prices from now on, CEO Péter Leonov announced. The EU requires airlines to announce gross prices only from next year, Napi Gazdaság notes.

Malév carried 5.1% more passengers in the first nine months than in the same period of last year, with the number of business travellers up 9% and 4.9% more tourists. Seat occupancy rose from 70.2% to 71.8%.

Malév had a 46.3% market share at Ferihegy in the first eight months and 49.4% in August alone.

Revenues in the first half were up 7% year-on-year, while the operating loss was cut by 40%. Malév plans to halve its operating loss from 2006 to 2007 and aims to turn a profit in 2008, Leonov said.
