H1N1 claims three more lives in Hungary

Over the Christmas holidays two women and a man died from the H1N1 flu virus at Szeged clinics, it was announced on Monday. All three had also been suffering from other serious illnesses, Szeged University explained.

 

A woman with a chronic kidney condition died on December 31; a man died at the Cardiology Centre Heart Surgery Department the following day; and another woman died at the unit on January 3.

 

On Monday afternoon 12 men, 9 women and 6 children were being treated for H1N1 at Szeged clinics.
