Politics Can Be Different (LMP) will turn to the Constitutional Court in an attempt to void the smog alert decree Budapest city council passed last summer, mayoral candidate Benedek Jávor told reporters on Móricz Zsigmond körtér, Budapest's 11th District on Wednesday.

It is "ridiculous" to ban the least environmentally friendly cars - which make up only 10% of Budapest traffic - rather than employing the system of allowing odd and even licence plates into the city on alternate days during smog alerts, Jávor argued.
