Grand Prix street parade moves to Lake Balaton
The street parade which traditionally precedes the Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix will be held at Lake Balaton in western Hungary this year, the organisers said on Tuesday.
The spectacular show which was held in Budapest in recent years will take place in Tihany and Siofok next Thursday.
French driver Sebastien Bourdais, the former Austrian driver Gerhard Berger and president-CEO of Hungaroring Sport Laszlo Palik will speed around with Torro Rosso and Red Bull cars this year.
Talks are in advanced stage with Formula One head Bernie Ecclestone on extending the contract for Hungaroring from 2011 for another five years, the 23rd Hungarian Grand Prix press conference was told.
