German creative hobby store chain opens shop in Budapest
Rayher Hobby Gmbh opened its first Hungarian store, which sells hobby materials, in Duna Ház on Budapest's Boráros tér, mfor.hu reports.
The investment cost Ft 10 million (€40,000), and the materials sold by the store have appeared in Hungary since the late 1990s. Based on the result of this first store, the company will decide whether or not to further expand.
The chain sells 16,000 types of hobby materials such as beads, jewelry elements, painting supplies, tools and materials for textile, leather and paperworks. Its income was €35 million this year; for next year, it is expecting an income of € 40-45 million.
